Eqvalan is an oral equine wormer for the treatment and control of adult and immature large redworms and small redworms, hairworms, pinworms, roundworms, neck threadworms, intestinal threadworms, large-mouth stomach worms, lungworms and bots in horses and donkeys. Each syringe of Eqvalan will treat up to 600kg of bodyweight. Eqvalan is safe to use in pregnant mares and breeding stallions and is suitable to use in foals from 6 to 8 weeks of age. All horses and donkeys should be included in a regular parasite control program, with particular attention being paid to mares, foals and yearlings. Foals should be treated initially at 6 to 8 weeks of age, and routine treatment repeated as appropriate within their worming programme.
